German Rococo Silver Salt Cellars

These four fantastic silver salt cellars are the epitome of Rococo opulence. Crafted in Germany in the late 18th century, their trefoil forms are intricately embellished with foliate and classical motifs, including the grinning satyrs covered with acanthus leaves that form the legs of each cellar. Almost entirely covered in swirling flora and fauna designs, these cellars would have made the perfect Rococo accents for any elaborate feast.
