Flora Danica Hedgehog Dinner Plate

This porcelain dinner plate by Royal Copenhagen is part of the exceptionally rare Flora Danica Games Series. While most Flora Danica dishes feature one of the native flowers of Denmark, this example boasts a charming hedgehog intricately hand-painted at its center. As with all Flora Danica pieces, this Latin name of the animal, Erinaceus europaeus, is written on the reverse.
